About WWD conference

First established in 2021 by Department of Water Technology of SRH University (Heidelberg). WWD was attracted a good number of researchers and academicians in all aspects of water sciences and technologies to encourage anything possible to fight against water scarcity and promoting water reusing for human and environmental needs specially in arid and critical areas of the globe. 

Preliminary Programme and main topics:

  • New methods and technologies in water treatment
  • New methods and technologies in wastewater treatment
  • Water conservation, management, pollution, scarcity, and droughts
  • Nutrients recovery in wastewater treatment
  • Grey water reusing
  • Biogas and energy production by wastewater recovery
  • Biofiltration and algae culture in water and wastewater treatment

Registration and abstract submission

Registration could be done here. There is no registration fee for all participants. Presentation would be in both possibilities of online oral presentation and online poster presentation. The preparation for online oral presentation will be announced close to event, but in short would be in about 15 - 17 minutes presentation and 3 - 5 minutes questions.

For taking part in one or both of online oral and poster presentations, there is needed to submit the abstract till 15th March 2023 as the final deadline of abstract submission. Abstract submission is now open to send and should be prepared simply on a 1-page PDF file based on the template here. Abstract must be sent directly to conference scientific committee by email: WaterLab.HSHD@srh.de

All abstracts for both online oral and poster presentations will be evaluated, and the authors will be notified in about 1 week after submission, and accepted abstracts will be published in the proceeding of the event ‘The 3rd World Water Day online Conference, 22 March 2023’.
