How wonderful that you have decided to study at our university and for giving us the opportunity to accompany you on an important part of your life. We are looking forward to getting to know you and supporting you in achieving your personal goals. You are probably already a little excited, looking forward to new friendships and experiences, and wondering what studying will be like. That's why this page gives you an overview of our Welcome Day: the event that gets you ready for your studies and gives you a relaxed start into your first semester.

Below please find a step-by-step instructions on how to enroll at our university and how to register with the city for semester start in April 2023.
Central programme Are you ready to start?
Our Welcome Days begin on April 3rd, 2023, with an interactive campus rally: In a small group with other first year students, you will explore the campus and the university, solve small tasks together and make first contacts with your professors and fellow students. If there is a delay in your visa process and you cannot reach Germany in time, you can take part in the digital campus rally. In the days that follow, you will get to know your faculty and the university's procedures.
09:00 am - 11:30 am | Campus Rally for all students from English-language study programmes:
We are pleased to invite you personally to our Welcome Day event on our campus. To register for the event, please enter your personal registration code which you've already received via email. Then you will receive your confirmation of registration in an email containing all relevant information about your personal schedule and your personal badge. Please bring your personalised badge with you on the day of the event.
Finally, we kindly ask you to be at the university (entrance of SRH University Heidelberg, Ludwig-Guttmann-Str. 6, 69123 Heidelberg) on time on the day of the event so that you can start as relaxed and smoothly as possible. Remember the German punctuality!
04:00 pm - 05:30 pm via MS Teams
If there is a delay in your visa process and you cannot reach Germany in time, you have the opportunity to take part in our virtual campus rally.
After you have successfully registered, you will receive your individual access data by email at the end of March. Our digital campus rally will take place via the video conferencing tool "MS Teams" - no registration or account creation is necessary. You can log in comfortably via the respective meeting link from your PC or laptop.

Mandatory for all new international students – be on time! We will guide you through the most important steps to settle down in Germany and give you some useful information on the German culture.

How to get to our campus
BY CAR
From the direction of Frankfurt or Mannheim or Karlsruhe:Please use the A5 motorway. Follow the signs at Heidelberger Kreuz, direction Heidelberg. At the end of the motorway there are traffic lights where you have to turn left. At the next set of traffic lights, also turn left onto Mannheimer Straße. On Mannheimer Straße, follow the signs to our company and turn left into Ludwig-Guttmann-Straße.
From the direction of Wiesloch/Bruchsal or Weinheim:
Follow the B3 and then the signs to Heidelberg/Wieblingen.
From the direction of Neckargemünd:
Follow the B37 and then in Heidelberg follow the signs to Wieblingen.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
If you are travelling by Deutsche Bahn:
Travel to Heidelberg main station. There you can take tram line 5 (direction Mannheim) to the stop "SRH Campus" or bus line 34 (direction Wieblingen) to the stop "Bonhoefferstraße".
