U-Multirank: SRH University Heidelberg’s international profile and practical relevance continue to set the pace

The international diversity of the teaching staff at SRH University Heidelberg is outstanding, according to a recently published international comparison of universities by U-Multirank. The university also landed in the top group for the number of start-ups by graduates. SRH University Heidelberg also scored well in the area of publications: the report noted the high level of collaboration with industry, the number of regional joint publications, and the high proportion of female authors. Overall, SRH University Heidelberg received “A” grades in five categories of the 2022 U-Multirank. This year, the School of Information, Media and Design (ranking in the top group in the “Contact with Professional Practice” category) and the degree programmes of the School of Engineering and Architecture particularly stood out. 

“The results once again underscore the fact that we are well networked in the region, practice-based, start-up-friendly and internationally oriented,” said Professor Dr Carsten Diener, President of SRH University Heidelberg. “For our prospective students abroad, these are important factors which prove that being international is not only something we say is important, but is also actively embraced.”

Around 2,000 universities worldwide took part in the U-Multirank global ranking, which is funded by the European Commission and enables universities to be compared internationally.
