International Research Experience @SRH: Expanding International Research
Whether inviting guest researchers to the SRH University Heidelberg or going abroad for research trips yourself: The project International Research Experience @SRH offers you financial support for the initiation and implementation of international research projects and collaborations.

Goals of the project
As part of our DAAD project „International Research Experience @SRH“ we are enhancing the research capabilities of SRH University Heidelberg and our international network. For this purpose, we award scholarships and travel funds to support collaborative, international research projects in their initiation, establishment or implementation. With visible and strong international research projects, we also want to motivate students to pursue a career in academia.
Possibilities at a glance
The project offers two opportunities to support international research:
- Scholarships for visiting researchers or experts: HSHD staff members may invite visiting scholars or experts from industry and practice interested in research to apply for a scholarship for a short stay at SRH University Heidelberg. The scholarships serve to initiate and carry out joint research projects and collaborations (duration of stay: max. 1 month).
- Travel funds for researchers of HSHD: researchers of HSHD can apply for travel funds for the coordination, initiation or implementation of joint international research projects and collaborations abroad (duration of stay: max. 1 week).
